Motion-Captured ‘Tarzan’ Pic Swings In With Five New Posters

Having just brought you casting news on the King of the Apes’ live-action return in director David Yates’ upcoming adventure, we’re more from the legend of TARZAN. Constantin Films will be the first to the big-screen  with their contemporary animated film, which updates the iconic 1921 novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs to present day. TARZAN is directed and co-written by Reinhard Klooss, and features motion-captured performances and voices from THE TWILIGHT SAGA’s Kellan Lutz and RESIDENT EVIL beauty Spencer Locke as the title character and his sweetheart, Jane.

One of the most classic and revered stories of all time, Edgar Rice Burroughs’ Tarzan returns to the big screen for a new generation. Tarzan and Jane face a mercenary army dispatched by the evil CEO of Greystoke Energies, a man who took over the company from Tarzan’s parents, after they died in a plane crash in the African jungle.

Here we have five brand new international character posters from film arriving in UK cinemas from the 2nd May 2014

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
