Paolo Sorrentino’s THE GREAT BEAUTY was the big winner at this year’s European Film Awards, triumphing in four categories including Best Film, Director and Actor. Though mainly a night to celebrate for our European cousins, Joe Wright’s ANNA KARENINA was justly recognised for Sarah Greenwood’s exquisite production design.
