REASONABLE DOUBT is a serial killer thriller with a great hook. After driving home drunk, a prosecutor (Dominic Cooper) accidentally hits a man and flees the scene. However, the man is found dead the next day having been slaughtered by a suspected serial killer (Samuel L. Jackson). Cooper finds himself in a difficult situation where his investigation into the truth ould very well ruin his reputation and his life.

The idea for the film is great, but the trailer gives away far too much. There are at least 3 or 4 points that would have been wonderful twists throughout the film, and it could have been ambiguous as to whether Jackson was guilty or if it was just Cooper’s guilt trying to convince him otherwise. Hopefully the film will still manage a few twists and turns, or at least remain tense and involving. You can check out the poster and stills released earlier this week right here.

REASONABLE DOUBT is released in the US on 17th January in selected theatres and VOD. It stars Samuel L. Jackson, Dominic Cooper, Erin Karplunk, Gloria Reuben, Ryan Robbins, and Dylan Taylor.
