Set some ten years after the events of the cancelled cult WB series, Kristen Bell reprises her signature role as wisecracking title character in VERONICA MARS: THE MOVIE. The film was only made possible by passionate fans who went out of their way financially to assure the Kickstarter campaign would see the young amateur sleuth’s return. Creator Rob Thomas directs the film and brings a number of original cast back together for more fun-filled and thrilling mysteries.
We can now confirm the film will arrive in US cinemas on the 14th March 2014. In addition, we have the first clip.
VERONICA MARS: THE MOVIE co-stars Krysten Ritter, Jamie Lee Curtis, Tina Majorino, Martin Starr, Gaby Hoffmann, Ryan Hansen, Ken Marino, Sam Huntington, Francis Capra and Enrico Colantoni.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.

Love it! Very different from the presentation they did for season 4 where Veronica is an FBI agent. I hope they include that one on the disc!
