Universal Pictures have released a statement saying that they will donate a chunk of money from profits made from the upcoming north America FAST AND FURIOUS 6 home entertainment release. That money will go to Reach Out WorldWide, a charity that aids areas of the world where natural disasters strike. Paul Walker, star of ‘Fast 6,’ who tragically died in car crash at the weekend, founded the non-profit organisation.
Donna Langley, Chairman, Universal Pictures said in a press release:
“With the passing of Paul, the world has lost a man who spent a great deal of his life in service to others. We share in the deep grief of his family, friends and the countless fans who love him. We keep Paul’s memory alive and honor his legacy through continued support of Reach Out WorldWide, the non-profit he founded to give hope to those who must rebuild after they have experienced natural disasters.”
The DVD and Blu-Ray will be available in US stores on the 10th December.
Donations can be made to Reach Out WorldWide (ROWW) here.
