Bark At The Moon: ‘Wolfman’ Coming To Small Screen

Wolfman Coming To Small Screen

We’ve just learnt that US network NBC is digging the depths of the horror vaults once again to bring us a new envisioning of THE WOLFMAN.

NBC is currently airing DRACULA, starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers as the Count.

The story of THE WOLFMAN follows Larry Talbot, a man who has an unfortunate encounter with a werewolf and ends up going a bit TEEN WOLF (but without the car surfing). We’ve already had two big screen renditions: the classic Universal Monsters 1941 movie starring Lon Chaney. Jr and the 2010 remake featuring Benicio del Toro in the titular role.

Dan Knauf, the writer who brought us CARNIVÀLE, is currently supervising the project. Whether it’ll have more bite than this year’s DRACULA, which Knauf also penned, remains to be seen.

Claire Joanne Huxham comes from the south-west, where the cider flows free and the air smells of manure. She teaches A-level English by day and fights crime by night. When not doing either of these things she can usually be found polishing her Star Trek DVD boxsets. And when she can actually be bothered she writes fiction and poetry that pops up on the web and in print. Her favourite film in the whole world, ever, is BLADE RUNNER.
