The first television spot has flown in (literally) for director Stuart Beattie’s long-delayed adaptation of Kevin Grevioux’s cult graphic novel, I, FRANKENSTEIN. THE DARK KNIGHT’s Aaron Eckahart takes the title role in Lionsgate’s gothic actioner, which comes from the creator of UNDERWORLD.
The Mary Shelley-created ‘creature’ Adam Frankenstein has survived in a dystopic present day due to a genetic quirk in his electrifying creation. However, his peaceful existence is threatened when he finds himself caught in the middle of a centuries old war between vigilant gargoyles and ferocious demons battling for ultimate power.
I, FRANKENSTEIN co-stars Bill Nighy, Socratis Otto, Yvonne Strahovski, Miranda Otto, Jai Courtney, Mahesh Jadu, Caitlin Stasey and Aden Young. It will be unleashed in cinemas from 24th January 2014!

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
