New International Trailer For Aronofsky’s ‘Noah’

There’s not a phone in sight for Russell Crowe to fling is this latest trailer for Darren Aronofsky’s sweeping biblical story of NOAH. Paramount Pictures may have missed a trick in not forcing Aronofsky to include such a scene in this effects-driven look at the Lord’s cruelty in washing away the sin of the world and only telling one man to be prepared. Maybe God had a thing (like me growing up) for Jennifer Connelly, who plays Russell’s wife Peggy in the film (I’m not fully sure of that last fact but I assume all women back in those days were called Peggy).

Anyways, you can catch Crowe and company counting the animals two-by-two when the rains come on the 28th March 2014. Expect it to hang around for 40 days and 40 nights before hitting home entertainment formats later in the year.

Aronofsky’s visionary epic, which he co-wrote alongside Ari Handel and John Logan, co-stars Emma Watson, Ray Winstone, Logan Lerman, Douglas Booth and Anthony Hopkins.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
