Peek At ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ Poster Proves He Faces An Onslaught Of Enemies!

An early banner for Sony and director Marc Webb’s THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 has been spotted in Las Vegas and gives more than a mere hint at the crushing chaos to come for our favourite web-slinger.

Going from left to right, you can see the hulking horned figure that suggests Paul Giamatti’s Russian mobster Aleksei Sytsevich (aka The Rhino) gets a robotic overhaul. In the middle (and not helped by the blurry image) we’re not sure if that is Dane DeHaan (Harry Osborne) or Chris Cooper (Norman Osborne) gliding above the skies as the Green Goblin. Finally, there is Jamie Foxx’s electrifying villain Max Dillon. However… just look above and to the side of Electro on the building’s billboard. Could that be another grotesque member of the Sinister Six? Maybe Colm Feore’s Vulture?

TASM2 – Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
