Earlier this year it seemed as though we were reporting on cast shuffles and director changes every single day concerning JANE GOT A GUN. The Natalie Portman starring western eventually settled down, and now we’ve been given a release date. The film, now directed by Gavin O’Connor, will be released on 29th August 2014. This means it will be going up against horrors THE LOFT and JESSABELLE, so a decent western could be a nice change at the box-office.
JANE GOT A GUN stars Portman as a woman who requires the help of an ex-lover after her husband returns home riddled with bullets with outlaws hot in pursuit. Joel Edgerton will play Portman’s ex-lover with Ewan McGregor on villain duties.
JANE GOT A GUN is released on 29th August 2014. It stars Natalie Portman, Ewan McGregor, Joel Edgerton, Rodrigo Santoro, and Noah Emmerich.
