Only the edge of a Katana’s blade now stands between us and Keanu Reeves upcoming Samurai fantasy flick 47 RONIN. Based on the true japanese historical account, Carl Rinsch’s big-budget film follows forty seven leaderless samurai who become the nomadic Ronin and journey to avenge their dead master. It’s good to see Keanu back on ass-kicking form but will the samurai sword cut the mustard?

47 RONIN also stars Rinko Kikuchi Hiroyuki Sanada Tadanobu Asano Rick Genest, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa and slices its way into UK cinemas from the 26th December.
