Last week we brought you the first footage from the set of Michael Bay’s sci-fi sequel TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION. Now we’ve another video showcasing the carnage to come in the film that will focus on a new bunch of characters as the Autobots undergo redesigns. In addition, we have the first official look at their heroic leader Optimus Prime via Empire magazine, as he himself gets an overhaul of sorts. There is also a new image of the powerhouse director in action. Was he going going for an upskirt before the car got in the way? I notice a couple of ladies so… probably.
Fingers crossed Mark Wahlberg and Bay can make the fourth in the TRANSFORMERS franchise at least watchable after the previous two sequels were frankly awful despite their stunning and spectacular visual-effects.
TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION is slated for release on the 10th July 2014 and will co-star Jack Reynor, Stanley Tucci, Nicola Peltz, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles, Li Bingbing, T.J. Miller, Han Geng and Titus Welliver.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
