It’s official! Sony have given fans of the iconic wall-crawling comic-book character an early Christmas present with confirmation that THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 trailer will arrive online on the 5th December.
The rather appropriately named Marc Webb is once again at the helm of the blockbusting return of Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) and his alter-ego, as he takes on Jamie Foxx’s sparky villain Max Dillon (aka Electro) as well as the introduction of a host of other goons. All who a sure to make their presence felt in the expected future instalments as part of the Sinister Six.
I saw a rough unfinished cut of the trailer during San Diego Comic Con which suggested there were as many amusing moments as there were action-packed set-pieces.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
