A Trigger-Happy Schwarzengger In New Snaps From ‘Sabotage’

Formerly titled TEN and then BREACHER, END OF WATCH director David Ayer’s SABOTAGE is now looking a risky bet for the studio that took it on. While Ayer is a damn fine writer and director, his lead star Arnold Schwarzenegger is no longer the major pull he once was. After the disappointing box-office double of THE LAST STAND and most recently ESCAPE PLAN, this latest genre entry for the Austrian Oak is now looking like a make or break project.

However, we’ve a bunch of hopeful new stills that may suggest SABOTAGE will see Schwarzenegger back on top form. He stars as DEA agent John “Breacher” Wharton, leader of an elite task force who find themselves being taken down one by one after they rob a drug cartel safe house.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
