DEVIL’S KNOT is based on the same-titled best-selling novel Mara Leveritt and charts the police investigation and subsequent charge and conviction of three teens local – aka the West Memphis Three – for the alleged satanic ritualistic murders of the three little boys. However, thrust in the midst of a media storm, devastated mother Pam Hobbs (played by Reese Witherspoon) and investigator Ron Lax (Colin Firth) suspect that the truth is even more frightening!
Joining the two Oscar-winners is the impressive supporting cast of Alessandro Nivola, Amy Ryan, Bruce Greenwood, Dane DeHaan, Mireille Enos, Kevin Durand, Stephen Moyer and Elias Koteas in the film directed by Atom Egoyan and adapted by Scott Derrickson and Paul Harris Boardman.
