Okay, so it doesn’t look like we’ll be seeing everyone’s favourite Cloud City administrator in EPISODE VII – at least for now – but Billy Dee Williams, aka Lando Calrissian, is rumoured to be at least lending his voice to the STAR WARS universe in some form.
According to a tweet picked up on by Jedi News, Williams will be doing voice work for the new animated TV show STAR WARS REBELS:

However, it’s transpired via the audio recordings of the Comic Con panel that Williams was actually referring to a show for Netflix – though he did initially term it ‘REBELS’.
So for now, Williams’ words are a bit of a mystery. It doesn’t sound like he’s talking about any upcoming Netflix original shows, but he may not be talking about STAR WARS: REBELS either. Then again, it could be that he’s in fact doing projects for both REBELS and an upcoming Netflix show and he’s just got the two confused.
