Mark Wahlberg (TED, PAIN AND GAIN, 2 GUNS) and Donnie Wahlberg (THE SIXTH SENSE, SAW II, SAW III,) have both had incredibly diverse acting careers and if that’s not enough they also own a family run restaurant hilariously and cleverly titled WAHLBURGERS in their home town of Boston Massachusetts.
Now the two talented brothers have announced that they will be starring in a brand new unscripted reality series about their restaurant titled WAHLBURGERS, which will air in the US on A&E from 22nd January 2014. Here is what David McKillop the executive of the A&E had to say on the new series:
‘We’re thrilled to partner with the entire Wahlberg family as they graciously lift the curtain to share this new side of their story, this series offers viewers a new take on the celebrity reality series showcasing one of America’s favorite families’.
You can also see Donnie Wahlberg announcing the series below:
The series will follow Mark and Donnie as they return to Boston to reunite with their ‘most talented sibling’ Paul Wahlberg who is the executive chief of Wahlburgers. Sounds like it will be worth checking out for an insight into the Wahlberg’s and the relationship they share as brothers, maybe we will get some interesting conversations between the family members reflecting on their acting careers thus far?
Mark Wahlberg will next be seen in TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTICNTION and Donnie Wahlberg can be seen on the CBS police drama BLUE BLOODS, We’ll keep you updated on WAHLBURGERS.
