With the two leads of Universal Pictures and Focus Features’ adaptation of FIFTY SHADES OF GREY – Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson – now locked on following a bumpy start, production is finally set to get underway. However, the kinky tale of billionaire bondage lover Christian Grey and his seduction of virginal college student Anastasia Steele has now officially been delayed a whole six months. Director Sam Taylor-Johnson’s version of E.L. James’ first in her trilogy of novels will now hit cinemas from 13th February 2015, instead of the original date of the 1st August 2014.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
