We have known for some time now that Guillermo Del Toro (PANS LABYRINTH, PACIFIC RIM) has been developing his own comic adaptation for DC based on JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK, the only question is where the film will fit into DC and Warner Bros’ larger plan for its characters. Now Del Toro has given an update on the project stating it’s not only still in the works but that DC most certainly have plans for its film universe, you can watch the interview below:

Its clear the Warner Bros and DC Entertainment are eager to make audiences aware of their characters on the big and small screen with both the MAN OF STEEL sequel and televisions ARROW doing most of the heavy lifting at the moment. The studio would not be wise to leave Del Toro’s project on the shelf for too long the directors busy schedule, as such a renowned film maker could only do good with characters that are mostly unknown to the general public.
