There is still quite a while to go before the release of Summit Entertainment’s box-office hopeful DIVERGENT. Still, the character posters just keep on coming from the big-screen adaptation of the best-selling book series by Veronica Roth. This time it’s the turn of Mekhi Phifer’s Max and Jai Courtney’s Eric, two of the pivotal players in the action-thriler.
The film follows the futuristic adventures of young teenager Tris Prior (Shailene Woodley) as she struggles in fitting into a future dystopian landscape where the world’s population are placed into groups and locations based on their specific personalities. Unfortunately, Tris finds she very different from other people. She’s DIVERGENT and will never fit into any group… and those in a higher power plot to wipe her kind out!
DIVERGENT is directed by Neil Burger and opens in theaters on the 21st March 2014. It co-stars Theo James, Kate Winslet, Ray Stevenson, Maggie Q, Miles Teller, Zoë Kravitz, Ansel Elgort, Ben Lloyd-Hughes, Ben Lamb, Christian Madsen, Amy Newbold, Ashley Judd and Tony Goldwyn.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
