Vue Entertainment is bringing iconic movie legend Indiana Jones back to UK cinemas in November – with one-off screenings of the classic 80s film trilogy over three successive weeks, plus a charity gala event in London’s West End.
The three Steven Spielberg-directed action adventure films – RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK (1981), INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM (1984) and INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE (1989) – starred Harrison Ford as archaeologist Dr Henry ‘Indiana’ Jones and have become all-time Hollywood classics.
And now they are returning to the big screen at Vue’s fully-digital cinemas, featuring state-of-the-art audio-visual technology, over three successive Tuesdays – RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK – Tuesday Nov 12th, TEMPLE OF DOOM – Tuesday Nov 19th and THE LAST CRUSADE on Tuesday Nov 26th – with adult tickets costing just £5.
Before the three-week run, a charity gala event takes place at Vue West End on Sunday November 10th, in aid of MediCinema, which works in UK hospitals and places of care to build state-of-the-art cinemas – bringing the latest movie blockbusters to patients, their carers and families completely free of charge.
The charity event will feature original props from the Indiana Jones movies, a themed food reception based on the exotic foods featured in the Indiana Jones 80s trilogy, and an auction of Indiana Jones memorabilia, before a showing of the uncut version of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
Stephen Moore, CEO of MediCinema, said:
“We are delighted to be able to build on our long-standing partnership with Vue Entertainment with this fantastic charity event. We hope all our supporters join us on Sunday 10th November for a fun-filled day and to help us raise funds to bring the magic of MediCinema to more patients across the UK.”
