It’s on, it’s off. It’s on, it’s off. It’s on again! We have just received word that the big screen adaptation of TERM LIFE has a new home, as QED International and Worldview have taken over from Universal Pictures in financing the film, which will be produced by Vince Vaughn.
Girl of the moment Hailee Steinfeld (ENDER’S GAME, ROMEO AND JULIET) will star in the film, which is set to be directed by Peter Billingsley and scripted by the comic’s creator, A.J. Liebereman.
Published in 2011, this action thriller was created by Liebereman and Nick Thornborrow and it sounds pretty exciting according to the official synopsis:
If Nick Barrow can stay alive for 21 days, he’ll die happy. Everyone Nick knows wants him dead; Mob bosses, contract killers, and dirty cops. Performing the last act of a desperate man, Nick takes out a million dollar insurance policy on himself, payable to his estranged daughter. The problem? The policy doesn’t take effect for 21 days. Nick knows they’ll be lucky to be alive for twenty-one hours.
