New Found Footage Horror Offers A Traumatic ‘Delivery’ With First Trailer & Poster

With the forthcoming PROXY and DEVIL’S DUE suggesting there has never been a more terrifying time to have a “bun in the oven”, another frightfest focusing on chills of child birth is also on the way. Writer/director Brian Netto’s is the man behind the ROSEMARY’S BABY-inspired found-footage entry DELIVERY, which is currently scaring up impressive reviews at genre festival in the US.

In this unnerving chiller, Kyle and Rachel Massy are a young couple who have agreed to document their first pregnancy for a reality show. During the production and after moving to a new home, a series of unexplained phenomena start plaguing the couple, eventually derailing the production of the show. Rachel, growing increasingly paranoid, starts to believe that there might be something seriously wrong with their unborn bundle of joy. Told through the show’s un-aired footage and interviews from friends, family and production members, Brian Netto’s savvy debut feature injects the found footage genre with a fresh perspective and enough eeriness to keep you on the edge of your seat

We have the freaky first trailer and poster for the film starring Laurel Vail, Danny Barclay and Rob Cobuzio. No confirmed release dates are yet known.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
