He’s out and about on the promotional trail of THOR: THE DARK WORLD, which is doing very well at the international box-office thank you very much, but has Alan Taylor just confirmed the existence of a DR. STRANGE movie over at Marvel? Speaking to the Telegraph newspaper in the UK, the helmer is quoted in saying:
“I do like the weirder ones,” he says. “What’s cool about them is they can now start exploring the weirder ones because they had so much success with the mainstream ones. So Ant Man is coming along, Guardians of the Galaxy, you know a raccoon is one of the main characters and that’s nuts. And then Doctor Strange. They’ve got lots of places to go.
ANT MAN is due in the summer of 2015, with GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY coming next summer, but there’s potentially there’s a space for a DR. STRANGE movie in the autumn of 2015. IRON MAN 3 director Shane Black was rumoured to be attached to the project but nothing has been confirmed by Marvel and the Mouse House officially.
We’ll bring you more news as we get it.
