The much-anticaped sequel THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE sees Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) finally returning home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games, alongside fellow District 12 tribute Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson). However, winning the controversial annual survival competition means that they must leave their families and embark on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts and Capitol. Sensing a simmering rebellion along the way, Katniss comes to realise it’s not over for them with President Snow (Donald Sutherland) preparing The Quarter Quell – a competition that could change Panem forever by forcing all the surviving champions to return!

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
