‘Entourage’ Feature Film Finally Moving Forward!

Entourage

Despite recent public spats between producer Mark Wahlberg and a number of the cast, creator of the acclaimed HBO series ENTOURAGE, Doug Ellin, has confirmed the film version is now set to move forward. It’s thought that the stumbling blocks were pay related and only a couple of weeks ago Wahlberg used the words “As soon as those guys stop being so greedy”, when asked about the project’s development. The four main cast members, played by Adrian Greenier, Jerry Ferrara, Kevin Dillon and Kevin Connelly, were supposedly wanting equal pay and closer to the paycheque signed by scene-stealer Jeremy Piven, who played foul-mouthed Hollywood agent Ari Gold.

However, it now looks as though things have been ironed out as Ellin took to Twitter to announce:

The film, which Ellin will write and direct, will follow six months after the end of the eighth and final series finale from 2011. Shooting is expected to get under way in January.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
