They’ve been problems behind-the-scenes of Disney-Pixar’s prehistoric adventure THE GOOD DINOSAUR. After the Oscar-winning co-director of UP, Bob Petersen, was removed from the animated film, it’s slated release of May 2014 was then moved a full 18 months to November 2015! We’re not not even sure who is now at the helm but John Lasseter, Lee Unkrich, Peter Sohn and Mark Andrews are said to be overseeing the early production until a permanent director is found. Expect one (or more) of those names to land the role with Petersen keeping a story credit alongside Enrico Casarosa.
Surprisingly, despite these hiccups, a teaser poster has surfaced featuring the title character and his best pal Spot.
THE GOOD DINOSAUR will feature the voices of Lucas Neff, John Lithgow, Frances McDormand, Neil Patrick Harris, Judy Greer, Bill Hader and is scheduled to hit cinemas on the 25th November 2015

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
