The talented British beauty Alice Eve has hopped aboard the directorial debut of actor Chris Evans. 1.30 TRAIN will also be led by the CAPTAIN AMERICA and AVENGERS actor. Eve was last seen (certainly in the UK) in tense crime-thriller COLD COMES THE NIGHT, opposite Bryan Cranston, but is perhaps best known for her role in J.J. Abrams’ sci-fi sequel, STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS.
Evans’ independent film is written by Ron Bass, and will feature a BREIF ENCOUNTER-style love story said to follow a man and a woman who meet on a train. They begin to develop a relationship in only a short time before one of them has to catch a connecting 1.30 TRAIN.
Evans will also produce alongside Bill Immerman, McG, Mary Viola, and Howard and Karen Baldwin.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
