The team behind James Wan’s currently-shooting sequel FAST & FURIOUS 7 have released the latest production video from the film’s set. It features Vin Diesel testing and familiarising himself with a pair of stilts, which he’ll use in the motion-capture process for his the role as towering walking tree Groot in Marvel’s GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY.
Having seen the awesome first footage from director James Gunn’s sci-fi space adventure during San Diego Comic Con, I must say it’s looking damn spectacular and downright hilarious with Chris Pratt surely set to become a superstar as the leader of the otherworldly pack of superheroes, Peter Quill aka Star Lord.
What’s most notable in this video is that Diesel confirms he only has one line of dialogue in the film and is in keeping with the Marvel source material, so fans shouldn’t be surprised. He’s also a big Andy Serkis fan!
GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY is slated for cinemas from 1st August 2014 and also features Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Michael Rooker, Ophelia Lovibond, Benicio Del Toro, Lee Pace, Karen Gillan, Djimon Honsou, Glenn Close, Peter Serafinowicz and John C. Reilly.
