Jamie Travis has had a good couple of years, with his feature debut film FOR A GOOD TIME, CALL… being acquired by Focus straight from the Sundance Film Festival last year, and he has now set his next film. It’s been announced that he’ll be making WHEN WE FIRST MET, an indie comedy described as 500 DAYS OF SUMMER meets GROUNDHOG DAY. Not the happiest of films to combine but it should be interesting…
John Whittington’s script is about a man who finds himself stuck in the friend zone for three years with the girl of his dreams, but then gets the opportunity to travel back in time and change the first night they met. Stay tuned for more casting news, maybe it’s one for Joseph Gordon Levitt?
