In most directors hands, a film featuring only two actors floating around in space would have been a sleep-inducing snoozefest. Thankfully, Alfonso Cuarón is not your average filmmaker and is a visionary specialist, always daring and evocative. So, did we really expect anything less than high critical praise from the man who gave us the outstanding CHILDREN OF MEN?
GRAVITY stars Sandra Bullock as brilliant medical engineer Dr. Ryan Stone, alongside George Clooney’s veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky. The two find themselves in a terrifying predicament when a routine spacewalk turns to disaster, leaving their shuttle destroyed and spiralling into the bleak, blackness of space. Running out of oxygen, the duo must fight for survival in the sci-fi thriller hitting theatres in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D from the 4th October and the UK from the 8th November.
