New Trailer For Old Boy Party Movie ‘Last Vegas’

We’ve already had one trailer arrive for the ensemble veteran party movie LAST VEGAS (see it here), but today we can share the brand new promo courtesy of Apple, which gives us a look at some more of the movie, and more of the characters.

Synopsis: Starring four legends like you’ve never seen them before, LAST VEGAS tells the story of Billy, Paddy, Archie and Sam (played byAcademy-Award winners Michael Douglas, Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman and Kevin Kline), best friends since childhood. When Billy, the group’s sworn bachelor, finally proposes to his thirty-something (of course) girlfriend, the four head to Las Vegas with a plan to stop acting their age and relive their glory days. However, upon arriving, the four quickly realize that the decades have transformed Sin City and tested their friendship in ways they never imagined. The Rat Pack may have once played the Sands and Cirque du Soleil may now rule the Strip, but it’s these four who are taking over Vegas.

This looks like it could be one of those harmless, fun, generic comedies, which I personally happen to love, and it’s great to see Michael Douglas back on his A game and having fun, much like he did back in the eighties with those adventure comedies like ROMANCING THE STONE and its sequel THE JEWEL OF THE NILE. While those films are completely different in terms of story and genre, you can see the actor enjoys larking about in something a little more light-hearted.

This one comes out on 1st November in the US, and a week later on the 8th November in the UK. Here’s the new trailer.

Paul has been writing for film websites for over ten years. The Hollywood News was born out of love for film and his frustration at not being a very good filmmaker himself. Those who cannot do, write about – or so they say. Aside from the site, Paul has directed a music video (badly), has one credit to his name on the IMDb, enjoys running, driving (now that he has finally passed his test at the age of 33), and of course going to the movies.
