Duncan Jones’ big-screen version of ‘World Of Warcraft,’ has finally got itself a release date. The CG-Iheavy affair, which is in the early stages of scripting/ pre-production will makes its debut on the 18th December 2015, filling the void of a ‘Hobbit’ movie which fills the holiday season tentpole this year and next.
We were treated to a mood piece for the Jones film, which will simply be titled WARCRAFT at the San Diego Comic-Con this summer, and we massively dug what we saw. Charles Leavitt (BLOOD DIAMOND) is writing the script for the film, which currently has no names attached to star (though we hear that casting is now underway).
While there is nothing else set to be released in December of that year, a few weeks back we did hear that STAR WARS EPISODE VII could be being moved back from the summer, but it looks like Warner Brothers have got in there first…
Production kicks off on WARCRAFT in early 2014.
