Mark Millar’s ‘Kindergarten Heroes’ Heading To The Big Screen

Kindergarten HeroesComic book writer Mark Millar, may be better known for his super violent graphic novels such as KICK-ASS and WANTED, but that doesn’t mean he can’t channel his inner child from time to time. We’ll be seeing a different side to the world of Millar’s superheroes thanks to KINDERGARTEN HEROES which 20th Century Fox are reportedly behind. Carter Blanchard, writer of the upcoming GLIMMER, is set to script the film.

KINDERGARTEN HEROES may not be familiar to, well, anyone at all, as the book itself is yet to receive a release date. It was written by Millar with art provided by Curtis Tiegs. Posting on Twitter, Millar said the following:

He has also praised Carter Blanchard on his Twitter account too:

The obvious knee jerk reaction is to be concerned about a disaster the size of SUPERBABIES: BABY GENIUSES 2, but it’s more likely that, being based on a Millar property, that we’ll be seeing a funnier and higher quality film. Being in the works since 2012, the book is a picture book for children, and judging by Millar’s comments about the project to CBM back in 2012, I’m sure the passion will make this an enjoyable experience both in book and film form.
