I’ve currently lost count of the number of clips released from Ridley Scott’s tense drug-themed thriller THE COUNSELOR. Perhaps 20th Century Fox are showing us a little too much but we can’t help but get excited with a cast consisting of Michael Fassbender, Javier Bardem, Brad Pitt, Penélope Cruz, Dean Norris, Rosie Perez, John Leguizamo, Natalie Dormer, Goran Visnjic and Cameron Diaz.
THE COUNSELOR comes from a screenplay by famed NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN and THE ROAD author Cormac McCarthy, which centres on a lawyer who gets in over-his-head when setting up a drug $20 million cocaine deal between two of his clients. It’s released in the cinemas 25th October.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
