With only a matter of weeks before BLUE IS THE WARMEST COLOUR (or LA VIE D’ADELE: CHAPITRE 1 & 2 in French) hits US cinemas, Sundance Selects is upping its promotion game with a new, blue, beautiful poster released for the drama.
Starring Lea Seydoux as Emma and Adele Exarchopoulos as Adele, the film focuses on a young lesbian couple and the trials and challenges thrown at them as they try to navigate their tumultuous relationship. Directed by Abdellatif Kechiche (BLACK VENUS), the film won the coveted Palme D’Or prize at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, creating a stir worldwide with its controversial content and themes.
I caught Seydoux in SISTER at the 2012 BFI London Film Festival, and although the film wasn’t ‘all that’ you could tell she had talent. This is a must-see! You can watch the US trailer here.
BLUE IS THE WARMEST COLOUR will hit US cinemas from 25th October, with it arriving in the UK from 15th November.

Considering Jazmine grew up watching CARRY ON SCREAMING, THE LION KING and JURASSIC PARK on repeat for weeks on end, it made sense for her to study film at London South Bank University. It’s also a good thing that her course requires a lot of sitting down because she’s very accident-prone. When she’s not examining her bruises, she likes pretending that she doesn’t live in Southend-On-Sea and spends hours mindlessly blogging. Favourite films include BLUE VALENTINE, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND and TOY STORY 2.
