Red-Band Trailer For Steve Pink’s ‘About Last Night’ Remake Lands!

Edward Zwick’s Brat pack blockbusting 1986 rom-com ABOUT LAST NIGHT, (which was based on the play Sexual Perversity in Chicago by David Mamet) has undergone an updated remake with HOT TUB TIME MACHINE’s Steve Pink at the helm. Kevin Hart, Regina Hall, Joy Bryant and Michael Ealy are the characters previously played by Rob Lowe, Demi Moore, James Belushi and Elizabeth Perkins. Check out the first trailer and stills from the film with the following synopsis:

A modern reimagining of the classic romantic comedy, this contemporary version closely follows new love for two couples as they journey from the bar to the bedroom and are eventually put to the test in the real world. Danny (Michael Ealy) and Bernie (Kevin Hart) are two single men living their lives on the wild side. But when Danny meets Debbie (Joy Bryant) at a bar and the two start a relationship after a one night stand, his life takes a different turn. Along the way, Debbie’s best friend Joan (Regina Hall) discovers just how difficult finding and maintaining true love can be.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
