Last month we brought you the surprise news that Twisted Twins, Jen and Sylvia Soska, would make WWE Studios and Lionsgate’s horror sequel SEE NO EVIL 2 their latest directing gig. It’s not a film I would be specifically excited about, in fact I’ve actually not yet seen the original 2007 film led by brawler Kane (aka Glenn Jacobs). However, after catching the Soskas’ outstanding AMERICAN MARY last year, I’ve made them ones to watch.
Filming will begin the film next month with wrestler Kane back as the hulking psychopath Jacob Goodnight. Joining the cast are genre veterans Katharine Isabelle (who shot to cult fame with lycanthrope tale GINGER SNAPS and portrayed the aforementioned Mary in the Soska’s body modification horror), HALLOWEEN 4/5 and HATCHET 2/3 beauty Danielle Harris and Michael Ekland (eye-catching in underrated suspense thrillers THE DIVIDE and THE CALL).
SEE NO EVIL 2 has the following simple synopsis:
Kane will return as the reclusive madman Jacob Goodnight, who rises from the dead in the city morgue after his killing spree at the Blackwell hotel and goes after a group of medical students who fight to survive.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
