‘Jurassic Park IV’ Official Title Confirmed – ‘Jurassic World’ To Stomp Into Cinemas June 12, 2015

Earlier today, Universal announced via Twitter that the fourth installment in the JURASSIC PARK series would be released in 3D on June 12, 2015, placing it firmly in the midst of what looks to be one of the largest cinematic summers of recent years with the likes of THE AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON, BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN and STAR WARS: EPISODE VII, amongst others.

The neo-prehistoric piece was assigned a long overdue and intriguing title, JURASSIC WORLD, deviating from the traditional JURASSIC PARK format, perhaps in an attempt to re-brand itself. SAFETY NOT GUARANTEED director and writer duo Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly are set to helm the project, with significant rewriting of Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver’s original script.
