It looks like Fox’s latest reboot of FRANKENSTEIN is set to get a hint of Downton flavour as it was revealed that Jessica Brown Findlay will be joining the cast.
Findlay joins Daniel Radcliffe as Igor and James McAvoy as Victor Frankenstein for the reboot of the famous novel by Mary Shelley. While much has not been revealed about just how much will be adapted from the book, it has been revealed in this version of the film, the story will be told in Igor’s point of view.
As previously reported, the fight for the roles in FRANKENSTEIN have been tough, with numerous actors trying out for the roles. Findlay’s role was no different, many actresses auditioning for her role, including THE INVISIBLE WOMAN’s Felicity Jones.
FRANKENSTEIN marks the return to period pieces for Findlay, her most famous one (of course) being Lady Sybil in DOWNTON ABBEY.
