James Franco is an exceptionally busy little bee. He’s currently writing, directing, and acting all over the shop. He’s also been mixing comedic and serious performances. Now he’s teaming up with another incredibly hardworking man, the one we call Jason Statham. Directed by Gary Fleder and written by Sylvester Stallone, HOMEFRONT sees a DEA agent move to a quiet town where he soon encounters a meth druglord. Hold the phone! Is this Breaking Bad? Statham plays the part of the DEA agent and it will be great to see Franco flexing his villainous chops. Judging by the stills below I think we can all say how much we love seeing Jason Statham on a horse instead of firing guns, and Winona Ryder needs to start aging or I’m going to start looking for her portrait.
HOMEFRONT is released on the 27th November in the US and 29th November in the UK. It stars Jason Statham, James Franco, Winona Ryder, and Rachel Lefevre.
