The reel is still warm on director Jason Reitman’s latest feature LABOR DAY, which will screen at the Toronto International Film Festival and news of his next venture has already surfaced. Reitman is set to write and direct an adaption of Chad Kultgen’s novel Men, Women And Children. Backed by Indian Paintbrush, the company behind many of Wes Anderson’s productions, the film will deal with the world of sexual discovery in the digital age, where pornography, blogs and social media are readily accessible through the internet, with the plot centred around a family that has kids in junior high school.
It looks to be a reassembly of the team behind LABOR DAY but, as of yet, none of the companies are confirmed. Reports have surfaced that Adam Sandler, Jennifer Garner, Rosemarie DeWitt and Cameron Diaz are potentially pursuing roles for the film that may start production as soon as November.
