The much-anticipated adaptation Joe Hill’s acclaimed gothic-horror novel HORNS is being brought to the screen by THE HILLS HAVE EYES and PIRANHA 3D director Alexandre Aja. Former Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe, plays a young man strangely named Ig Perrish, who must come to terms with the rape and murder of his girlfriend, all the while the suspicion is pointing in his direction. When he awakens one morning to find he’s sprouted horns that come with their own set of supernatural powers, Ig becomes determined is tracking down her killer.
HORNS makes its world premiere at the upcoming Toronto Film Festival and co-stars Juno Temple, Joe Anderson, James Remar, Kelli Garner and Max Minghella. It’s expected in cinemas later next year.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
