I’m about as interested in shows like Britain’s Got Talent as I am about stamp collecting or origami. Apparently some fella named Paul Potts won the show created by Simon Cowell, after winning the hearts of the nation with his operatic shenanigans on stage and television. He’s now living the dream and laughing all the way to the bank with a biopic based on his rags-to-riches journey. Gavin & Stacey‘s James Corden takes on the role of the rotund warbler in ONE CHANCE and here we have the first trailer from the film adaptation directed by THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA’s David Frankel.
ONE CHANCE is expected in UK cinemas from 25th October 25 and co-stars Julie Walters, Colm Meaney, Alexandra Roach and Mackenzie Crook.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
