Disclaimer: You sadly can’t play this…yet! Clever Japanese artist Chofu Shimen has come up with this little tribute to PACIFIC RIM in the form of a NES Game that looks like it’s dragged straight out of the 1980s and, we wish this was real.
Some of you may remember there was previously a similar-looking Homeland homage and with an actual video but although this little tribute doesn’t have that aspect, we’ve got some great images below. Let’s hope there’s another soul out there currently working on a level or two that we can dive into and “CANCEL THE APOCALYPSE“.
PACIFIC RIM seems to have found a middle level of love and disappointment, I watched it in Canada on IMAX in 3D and let me tell you – That’s the only way it should be shown. A truly modern epic on a giant screen featuring sky-scraper-sized monsters and robots. Brilliant. Anyway, choose your own Jaeger and fight some kaiju!
