Check out new footage from two of the years upcoming efforts. Luc Besson makes his first genuine Hollywood effort since 1997s THE FIFTH ELEMENT with forthcoming crime comedy THE FAMILY. The film is led by Robert De Niro and Michelle Pfeiffer as the husband and wife of a notorious mafia family named The Manzoni’s, who are forced into the witness protection programme in Normandy. Check out the first three clips from the film co-starring Tommy Lee Jones, Dianna Agron, David Belle, John D’Leo.
THE FAMILY is based on the novel ‘Malavita’ by Tonino Benacquista and hits US cinemas from the 20th September, and the UK 8th November.
Next up, we have new clip from THE LINCOLN LAWYER director Brad Furman’s gambling thriller RUNNER RUNNER. It centres on Princeton grad student Richie (Justin Timberlake), who believing he’s been swindled by online gambling tycoon Ivan Block (Ben Affleck), travels to Costa Rica to confront him. However, Richie is soon seduced by Block’s promise of wealth and power, but learns the disturbing truth about his benefactor.
RUNNER RUNNER is released in UK and US cinemas from the 27th September. Brit beauty Gemma Arterton co-stars.
