We all know it’s not far away, but Christmas is definitely on the way. Announcing its Blu-Ray and DVD release as December 2nd in the UK, MAN OF STEEL will be out just in time for the festive period.
As well as revealing the release date Warner Bros. Home Video treated us to a taster of the four hours worth of bonus footage and features. Extras include an in depth look at the training Henry Cavill undertook to obtain the iconic physique, as well as an explanation for the change of some of the core Superman characters. The shining jewel in the pack however is the feature-length ‘Journey of Discovery: Creating Man Of Steel’, with input from Zack Snyder, Henry Cavill and the rest of the cast, the extra long feature charts the production of the film from start to end. The one notably missing feature were the deleted scenes.
A must buy gift for any Superhero enthusiast, the tough choice will come from deciding which version to purchase as further to the standard DVD and Blu-Ray release there will also be a Limited Collectors Edition which comes with a snazzy ‘S’ glyph complete with Lucite glass stand.
