See The Future In ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ Capitol Couture Ads

We’re always impressed when marketing schemes manage to meld together our world with the film universe, with the team behind THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE doing a marvelous job so far. Huge billboard posters have been spotted in various locations across America advertising Capitol Couture, a sleek and stylish clothing brand inspired by the film.

THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE follows on from the first in the series, with Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) returning to her home in Panem to celebrate her joint victory in the 74th Annual Hunger Games. Although the party may be underway, all is not well in the Districts Of Panem, with riots rising to full force. However, the threat of rebellion isn’t enough to stop President Snow (Donald Sutherland) moving forward and onto The Quarter Quell, the 75th Annual Hunger Games.

The posters are certainly eye-catching, showing off the styles worn in the Capitol. I wonder if we’ll see Miss Everdeen sporting any of them?

Jennifer’s co-stars include Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Woody Harrelson, Stanley Tucci, Lenny Kravitz, Willow Shields, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Elizabeth Banks. Directed by Francis Lawrence, THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE will hit UK cinemas from 21st November 2013, with the US following the day after.

Considering Jazmine grew up watching CARRY ON SCREAMING, THE LION KING and JURASSIC PARK on repeat for weeks on end, it made sense for her to study film at London South Bank University. It’s also a good thing that her course requires a lot of sitting down because she’s very accident-prone. When she’s not examining her bruises, she likes pretending that she doesn’t live in Southend-On-Sea and spends hours mindlessly blogging. Favourite films include BLUE VALENTINE, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND and TOY STORY 2.
