Chiwetel Ejiofor is an actor on the rise; you’ll be hearing his name a lot more in the coming months as his role in Steve McQueen’s 12 YEARS A SLAVE is being talked about as Oscar worthy. However, before that project is released in December, Ejiofor has family drama SAVANNAH coming out later this month in the USA. The film follows Christmas Moultrie (Ejiofor), a freed slave, and his friend Ward Allen (Jim Caviezel) as they start a business in Savannah, USA selling their hunted ducks. Not being on the right side of the law lands them in the courtroom with the town watching on as they explain themselves in the clip below.
SAVANNAH is being directed by Annette Haywood-Carter and also stars Jaimie Alexander (THOR), Sam Shepard (BLACK HAWK DOWN), Jack McBrayer (30 Rock), Bradley Whitford (The West Wing) and Hal Holbrook (INTO THE WILD).
