We reported late last night that X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST had officially completed shooting this weekend, with the road well and truly turning toward the lengthy post-production process leading to release day on the 23rd May of 2014. Well, overnight, 20th Century Fox have released the very first official image from the film (see below), featuring Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, James McAvoy as Charles Xavier, and Nicholas Hoult as Hank McCoy. The sharper eyed amongst you will realise that Wolverine is not from that time period, and has obviously ventured back to the 1970s to meet the younger Xavier and McCoy, who is also known as Beast (portrayed by Kelsey Grammar in the previous movies).
Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy, Halle Berry, Daniel Cudmore, Fan Bingbing, Boo Boo Stewart, Adan Canto, Evan Peters, Josh Helman and Lucas Till also star in the film, which is directed by X veteran Bryan Singer.
